At greenPRO, innovation is at the heart of everything we do and is central to our purpose. From concept to design the implements we manufacture have been inspired by the challenges that farmers face in rural communities throughout Australia.
WE DON’T BUILD TO SELL, WE BUILD TO SOLVE.
Recently, greenPRO and its parent company, Quik Corp (2016 Winner of the Telstra Business Awards) attended The Australian National Field Days (ANFD), held in Borenore, New South Wales. In preparation for Australia’s premier Agricultural industry event greenPRO and Quik Corp have been working hard to champion new ways to advance Australian agriculture by delivering new technologies and innovations that can support regional and rural communities in their farming needs.
During the three-day agricultural exhibition, which runs from 20th to 22nd October, greenPRO was awarded the 2016 NAB Agribusiness Award of Excellence, in recognition of greenPRO’s innovative range of solar powered Travelling Irrigators with unique ‘set and forget’ technology – which is a world first.
The NAB Agribusiness Award of Excellence recognises advances in technology, design and the manufacture of agricultural equipment.
The Australian National Field Days committee explains “The Award of Excellence recognises new, innovative design and manufacture of machinery and equipment designed for use in the Australian agricultural industry and is an acknowledgement that the product meets high criteria standards and is worth of the attention of primary producers”.
The Award was presented to Mr Grant Mitchell, Chairman of Quik Corp, and Mr Ben Hestehauge, Product Manager of greenPRO by Mr Dan Toohey, Chairman of the Australian National Field Days and Mr James Nash, Agribusiness State Manager, NAB.
Not long after, Quik Corp was also presented with the 2016 NAB Agribusiness Award of Excellence, in recognition of Quik Corp’s Solid EF Firefighting Foam.

From a large number of national and multinational applicants that entered only five businesses would be selected for this distinguished Award, two of which were greenPRO and Quik Corp.
“With over 28 years’ experience in all aspects of farming, our team remains passionate about continue to deliver innovative solutions to farmers across the country. It’s what we do, and we’re incredibly proud of it” Said Mr Grant Mitchell, Chairman for Quik Corp.
Entries are assessed on a variety of criteria, including innovation, application to Australian agriculture, the standard of design and engineering, safety, value for money, and ease of use. We also believe this to be pivotal in any implement we create.
greenPRO, as a division of Quik Corp, believes in being more than just an agricultural supplier of farming implements. We understand the challenges that farmers face because we’re farmers too. With battling drought and ever-changing agricultural landscape, greenPRO is committed to delivering new technologies to continue to support the needs of regional and rural communities in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible.
We believe, we do just that.
